Like Ole Miss, they beat the Volunteers by 14 points in a game where Alabama never truly felt threatened once they flexed their second-half muscle (27 unanswered points).
Alabama laying 4.5 points at most places but look around during the week. This may feel odd but the half point is a solid gift given the -110 number. Some pundits believe the spread could fan out to 5 or even 5.5. Still, this home contest requires Alabama to play more than a half of football. Again for LSU, this is their statement game. A third loss kills any hope of a good bowl game and an SEC Championship spot. That’s academic. Daniels and Kelly lead an offense that averages 47.4 points per game into a place where these offenses have had more success in recent years.
