Republican Vice President Nominee

The VP Favorites

Kristi Noem (+375) was elected as South Dakota’s first female governor back in 2018. A former pageant queen, Noem has never missed an opportunity to kiss Trump’s ass, even supporting his lies about election-fraud. Even though Noem is strictly anti-abortion, her presence on the ticket may be enough to persuade gullible voters that Republicans care about “women’s issues”.

As the only Black Republican in the senate, Tim Scott (+375) is the best and only choice to convince voters that MAGA is not racist. While he performed horribly in the 2024 GOP primary, the South Carolina senator has taken steps to secure the nomination by popping the question to his mystery fiancé.

Other Republican contenders

Vivek Ramaswamy (+650) was one of the six people Trump confirmed to be on his shortlist during a Fox News town hall in February. Aside from being an Indian American, the biotech entrepreneur comes across as a clone to the 77-year-old former president, rallying against “wokeness” and calling January 6 an “inside job”.

Elise Stefanik (+800) is among a large list of Republicans who once criticized Trump before becoming an avid cheerleader. The New York congresswoman could deliver many of the same votes as Noem, but comes in a less attractive package.

Tulsi Gabbard?

Tulsi Gabbard (+900) seems to be picking up momentum lately. The ex Democratic congresswoman and presidential candidate left the party in 2022, saying it was “under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness.”

Unlike some of the other VP contenders, the 42-year-old doesn’t have a constituency to bring to the table. That said, Gabbard is easy on the eyes and well positioned to attack he former party.

Best Longshot

Since Katie Britt (+6500) botched the State of the Union response, we’ll go with Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake (+5000). Once proclaimed the “leading lady” of Trumpism, the former television news anchor won a CPAC straw poll as the top Republican VP pick. And like The Donald, Lake is an election denier.

Best Bet

Having had an incredible amount of plastic surgery, Kristi Noem (+375) looks like Donald Trump’s kind of gal. Expect the South Dakota governor and her lip implants to secure the Republican vice-presidential nomination.
