Low value symbols come in the form of alphabetical Japanese characters with colours of blue, grey, purple and green. These symbols can offer between x0.15 and x10 the player’s bet, depending on the number of matching symbols that land in a winning cluster.
Meanwhile, bottles, daggers, masks and Yakuza bosses depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.4 and x100 the player’s wager.
Gold scatter tablets can also drop into play on reels one, three and five, awarding 12 free spins when three or more land on the same spin.
Additionally, wild symbols can appear on the reels after wins have been formed, substituting for all symbols other than gold tablet scatters.
THE DETAILS
Cluster-wins are on offer in this game, with wins coming by way of four or more identical symbols landing adjacent to one another, vertically or horizontally.
Once cluster wins have been formed, winning symbols will disappear after providing their payout prizes to make way for new symbols that drop in from above the reels.
Additionally, wins formed with five, six or seven or more identical paytable symbols – discounting wilds – will cause one, two or three wild symbols to appear in their place after they disappear.
Every win will activate multiplier reels that sit below the reel set, with each individual symbol that forms part of a win increasing their respective reel’s reel multiplier by a value of one.
However, any Yakuza boss high value symbols that appear will cause their respective reels’ multiplier to increase by x5 before applying to any potential wins within it. The Yakuza boss does not need to form part of a win to do so.
While reel multipliers reset in between base game spins, they will not reset throughout the free spins game mode.
