U2 was the first band to have a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere and now an immersive film of the shows is available for people to view at the venue.

significant number of tickets are still available to buy for upcoming shows

The first airing of “V-U2” was on Thursday and while the premiere sold the majority of the seats at the 18,600-seat arena, a significant number of tickets are still available to buy for upcoming shows. Prices for the 82-minute movie co-directed by The Edge and his wife Morleigh Steinberg start at $79 for a single ticket.

Talking about the idea behind the movie, the guitarist said that the plan was “to give the immersive moviegoers as close to the live U2 concert experience as possible.”

The movie will play at the Sphere until the end of October and will not interfere with the Eagles starting their 20-show residency on September 20.
