Jay-Z has cut the ribbon to officially open the new Fanatics sportsbook retail location at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City. He was joined on Sunday by Fanatics Founder and CEO Michael Rubin and two-time golf Major Championship winner Justin Thomas:
The new 12,000-square-foot Atlantic City facility opened for business on September 5, in time for the beginning of the NFL season, with the official launch event only occurring on Sunday. It has a large number of betting windows and self-service kiosks, as well as an extensive lounge and bar area.

Brand ambassador Justin Thomas placed the first ceremonial bet following the official launch of the new sportsbook, putting $100 on his alma mater Alabama winning the college football national championship.
Jay-Z was spotted during the ceremony smoking a cigar and playing at an exclusive $250,000 blackjack tournament. He is a regular at the property, having hosted a blackjack fundraiser event last September in the casino that saw stars like Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, and Kevin Hart in attendance.
The 54-year-old has been an investor in Fanatics since 2021 and plans to open retail sportsbooks through his exclusive 40/40 Club.
