Super Bowl 58 has no shortage of star power on the field with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk all ready for football’s biggest stage. Which Chiefs star will score the first touchdown? What 49er will find the end zone first? And will anyone hit paydirt twice?

Before we place our bets on what Kansas City and San Francisco players will shine in the big game, here’s where you can find the best Super Bowl 58 betting tips and smart advice on how to bet on 2024 Super Bowl Props.

First TD Scorer – Chiefs

Will Kelce strike first again?

KC’s offensive resurgence this postseason can be traced to Andy Reid’s decision to condense touches between three players – Isiah Pacheco (+240), Travis Kelce (+250) and Rashee Rice (+350). Kelce scored the first Chiefs touchdown in last year’s 38-35 Super Bowl win over the Eagles.

Pacheco found paydirt in Super Bowl 57 and has scored in all three games this postseason. Meanwhile, Rice has 223 receiving yards and a TD in the playoffs. If you’re looking for a longshot, Marquez Valdes-Scantling (+1500) has hauled in four receptions for 100 yards over the past two weeks. MVS posted 111 yards in his last outing versus San Francisco in October 2022.

First TD Scorer – 49ers

CMC tops the list

Christian McCaffrey (+155) is pretty much automatic. Earlier this year, he had a 17-game touchdown streak that tied him with Hall of Famer Lenny Moore for the all-time NFL record. Since that time, he’s scored in seven of nine games. CMC has also tallied 260 total yards and four TDs in two playoff games.

Deebo Samuel (+400), George Kittle (+450) and Brandon Aiyuk (+450) are also squarely in the mix. But don’t forget about longshot Kyle Juszczyk (+2500). The 32-year-old fullback had three receptions for 39 yards and a TD versus the Chiefs in Super Bowl 54.

To Score 2 or More TDs

Make that a double

It’s almost hard to bet against Christian McCaffrey (+170) scoring two TDs in Super Bowl 58. He found the endzone twice in each of his first two playoff games and Kansas City ranked 18th against the run in 2023.

Isiah Pacheco (+370) is also a strong bet against the Niners’ 15th ranked run defense (DVOA). This season, Steve Wilks’ unit allowed a 79% conversion rate on third down, fourth down and goal line runs with 1-2 yards to go. However, if Pacheco punches two in, Super Bowl MVP (+3000) is the better bet.

Best Bet

With three TDs this postseason, Travis Kelce (+400) has found the endzone 13 times in his last 12 playoff games. But while the 34-year-old’s 19 career playoff TDs trail only Jerry Rice (22), we’ll roll the dice with Niners tight end George Kittle (+1100), who offers much longer odds.
